About Me

Hey everyone!

My name is Elsa Sainz and I’m so excited to meet you! I’d love to tell you a little bit about me and I look forward to learning about you.

Anyone that knows me, or has worked with me, knows that I don’t ever run out of words when it comes to talking about what I love to do… and that is photography! I could type my usual 10 paragraph post like I tend to do on my facebook page, haha! But I will TRY to keep it short and sweet here. I started photography 6 years ago, looking for a career that would give me the freedom to stay home with my future kids. (Now my two wild, non-stop, smart, beautiful, wonderful and EXHAUSTING kids lol) But also as a way to express all the creativity that I have always had inside me and wanted to bring to life.

In my school years I would sit in the back of the class drawing and painting instead of paying attention to the lessons… I would be bumping into kids while walking the hallways with my nose in my Harry Potter books, lost in a world of MAGIC that fascinated me! Later as a teenager, I loved to go work at my mother’s bakery and started decorating wedding cakes at only 14. I loved the colors and the beautiful art that could be created and displayed. More importantly, I loved seeing the clients so excited and thankful to have received something I created for them from scratch. Something that I had made through hard work and dedication. I moved on to my young adult life to love music. I enrolled in many dance classes including ballet, hiphop, and belly dancing. I eventually joined and performed with a semi-professional salsa competitive dance team around the U.S.A! I loved dancing and performing, listening to music and all that could be created and expressed through dance. I just knew dancing and performing was my number one passion in life… that is until I discovered photography! From there, the rest is history.

The last 6 years I have dedicated my all to this craft. I have invested so much time, money, and effort (not to mention many sleepless nights haha!) to a passion that has grown into my life time career. A career that thankfully gave me what I always dreamed of, the ability to see my kids grow, spend time with my husband, to retire my parents, and to most of all, be able to create magical pieces of art that clients can display in their homes with pride. Art that mommies can look at once their kids grow older and remember those sweet young years. I love that I have the ability to help so many people feel beautiful and special during their sessions. I am grateful to have been able to take photos full of laughter and good memories of families with loved ones that passed away years after their session. It is so special to me that they still have their photos as a sweet memory. I absolutely love what I do and I have been blessed to be able to work with so many amazing women and families. Women, who like I, struggled with infertility and losses. Women for whom, once they finally were blessed with their pregnancies, I was able to do something special, to celebrate these moments they prayed for. I feel so blessed that I am able to use these skills I have learned over many years of practice, hard work, and lots of sacrifice.

Today, I am finally able to do what I love! I can’t wait to be able to work with you as well! If you made it to this point, you might have noticed that my promise for a short intro went out the door when I started talking about my Harry Potter nerd days, haha! So this is me! Nonstop, over talking, awkward at times, silly and loving!

I look forward to meeting you in person soon!
